END-GRAIN CONSTRUCTION

Our large size cutting board use end-grain construction, meaning the fibres of the wood are vertical. As you cut onto the board, the knife actually pushes down between fibres rather than cutting them and they close up again afterwards. It is easier on the knife and the board.

Being a chef, I'm going through most Japanese knives in less than a year. With Hazaki knives, I feel that they are the perfect balance between sharp and robust. They keep their edge forever but are not as fragile as other Japanese knives, they're definitely my favorite knives ever.

I have a multitude of knives in all shapes and sizes and range in quality from $60 - $2000. Hazaki is by far the best bang for the buck you can get. It compares to my most expensive blades in terms of performance and is pretty affordable. I really like the weight, shape and feeling in hand of all my Pro Series knives. They keep their edge for a very long time as well. Awesome products!

Awesome looking knives, I love the combination between the Japanese blade and Canadian handle and the modern design. Very, very, very sharp blades that perform consistently in the kitchen. I'm totally in love with the products!

I am a massive fan of Japanese knives. I've used many top brands but Hazaki Knives beat them all! They are light, sharp as hell and feel fantastic to use.

If you are looking to invest in only one quality knife in your lifetime, you should seriously consider a Hazaki Knife.
