Samuel Bouchard (left), founded Hazaki in Montreal, Canada, with the goal to produce some of the finest kitchenware in the world.
Cooking with high quality Japanese knives and handmade cutting boards completely enhances your experience and makes it so enjoyable. We want to make this experience accessible to everyone; for the professional chef as much as for the home cook.

We first experienced Hazaki table knives at a chef-led dinner at Down Home and loved them enough to purchase the mixed wood set for our own Forest Feast dinners. They add so much to each place setting, with the varied wood handles bringing warmth and character to the table. They feel substantial in the hand, cut beautifully, and are one of those small details that genuinely elevate the experience for our guests.
