These knives are very sharp right out of the box. They are really comfortable to hold and look good. I am glad they are from Canada.

Very nice steak knives, HUGE improvement on the average serrated steak knife. Much cleaner cuts, less juices are lost/flooding your plate. The grain really pops if you treat them with a bees wax.

These are beautiful knives. They have a solid feel and are well made. The simplicity of the lines between the blade and woodwork were exactly what I was looking for. My only complaint is the branding on the blade next to the handle really stands out and distracts from the elegance of the piece. Something more subtle would be appreciated or at least not darkened/oxidized.

I was wanting to replace our old steak knives with new ones that are sold by a Canadian store and came across the Hazaki website. I decided to purchase the Japanese steak knife kit with olivewood handles.
